Welcome to the new website!

Here are just a few of the things you’ll be able to do on this new website:

  • Explore a searchable archive of 10 years of eLessons – filter by topic, level, date and more!
  • Easily share elessons with colleagues, and rate those ones you really like.
  • Watch great video content, including recordings of many of the Anecdote speaking tasks from the Student’s Books. Why not try playing these in class as a model for your students?
  • Find the easiest way to buy American Inside Out, wherever you are in the world.
  • Enjoy the great new design :-)

We hope you’ll enjoy using this website, and New Inside Out, and we welcome any suggestions or comments you would like to leave for us below. (We won’t publish your email address – it’s just for security.)

Regards,

The Inside Out Team

  • I am vividly impressed: Macmillan’s books (“Sky high” and “Inside Out”) have no problem in using native language as a key tool for the students. Comparing structures and uses in both English and their first language is not only faster for the teacher, it is also easier and more friendly for the students.
Sadly, in my country, Venezuela, many academy owners and/or directors still think the learning process should be as hard and frustrating as possible. I obviously disagree.
Books like this have been an inspiration for me. I would like to meet like-minded teachers, who teach applied Linguistics as a major skill, rather than “second languages”. I would also like to write ESL books for Latin American students or Spanish for English-speaking students
    Truly yours
