This special edition of Inside Out has been carefully tailored to suit the needs of EOI students and teachers. It is based on extensive research in EOIs all over Spain, with many EOI teachers and students contributing to the project.
The Special Edition includes a section of "shadow units" written by EOI teachers which complement the units in the Student's Book. They deal with the same themes but take the students to EOI levels III, IV and V through extra input and more practice activities. Specific problems of Spanish learners are dealt with through activities involving translation, false-friends and "Spanglish". They also provide coverage of the contents and skills required for the Certificado de Ciclo Elemental y Superior de las Escuelas de Idiomas.
